OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1982, this Christ Evangelical Free Church is affiliated with the Christ Evangelical Free Church of America. Click here for more info on the Evangelical Free Church of America and our beliefs. We are located at 19682 Hill Road in rural Saegertown, Pennsylvania.

Our inviting church seeks to reach into the community to create a meaningful impact for Christ. We do this through life groups, bible studies, classes, concerts, and even events like our Light in Bethlehem live nativity.

We believe in “Connecting with others in order to connect them to Christ and to other Christ followers… THE CHURCH.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Our church is lead by Pastor Jeff Wilson, and supported by church EMBers.

EMBers are Elders (our spiritual leaders), Ministry leaders, and the official Board. The EMBers represent the church body and make up our church leadership team that governs the church.

All of our congregation is invited to each and every EMBers meeting for input, church prayer, and direction. The congregation governs all concert of the church body. The congregation meets three times per year. The Embers meet monthly, and they represent the congregation in all of its meetings.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are focused on forming meaningful connections with others, in order to connect them to Christ and other believers.

There are a multitude of different ways to be active in our church community. From Bible studies of all ages to events like our live nativity and even sewing classes, cricket classes, exercise classes and more.

We believe in discipleship, and in being more than just the Sunday Christian.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Pastor Jeff Wilson & Worship Leader Faith Wilson

Pastor Jeff and his wife, Faith, have been ministering at Christ Evangelical Free Church since 2005. Both are graduates of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. Pastor Jeff graduated in 1989 after studying Pastoral Studies with a Greek emphasis. He went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Theological Seminary in 1992. After working in church planting and development along with children’s ministries and evangelism for several years, Pastor Jeff and his family joined the ministry here in Saegertown.
