Our Mission

Connecting with others in order to connect them to Christ and to other Christ followers… THE CHURCH.

Through worshiping God, following Christ, loving one another, reaching the world, and living like He will return today.

That means we are focused on forming meaningful connections with others, in order to connect them to Christ and other believers. This is our mission field and our calling.

lIFE gROUPS

s.t.o.r.m. mEN’S bREAKFAST

Every 1st Saturday at 8:00am our men’s free breakfast and Bible study meets. This group is called S.T.O.R.M.- Serving Through Outreach Ministry. We take any donation for next month’s food.

pATHFINDERS

Pathfinders is a young adults Bible study ages 18 to 38 that meets every Saturday at 7pm. Click here for more information and to get connected today.

rELEASE tIME

During the school year, we host and support “Release Time”, reaching each student one heart at a time. This is a ministry where we reach children in our school district where some of them learn about God and His Word for the first time! This occurs at during the school year for grades 1 through 6. While not all of these grades meet directly at our church, we support all of them.

sISTERS OF ENCOURAGMENT

Every 2nd Saturday at 9:00am our women’s Bible study meets for prayer and biblical encouragement. This is also our “Care & Outreach” group that is involved in and promotes a variety of relationship opportunities within the church family meetings.

dISCIPLESHIP & dISCOVERY

Sunday School classes meet at 9:15am. This is where groups for all ages, designed for community, group learning and discipleship, grow Sunday morning before the worship service.

wEDNESDAY Prayer & bIBLE Hour

Wednesdays at 10:00am we support a day of prayer, fasting, & Bible study designated for God’s overall kingdom advancement and our church’s health and growth.

mINISTRIES

lIGHT IN bETHLEHEM

Every two years, the church hosts a live nativity with actors, decor, and even animals. On this Night in Bethlehem, there is a Light in Bethlehem! Bethlehem will return to Saegertown in 2025!

h.o.M.E. gROUPS

Home outreach Ministry Experience or H.O.M.E. are groups designed for outreach into our home mission field. We typically implement these groups mid-spring.

mISSIONS mONTH

Through the month of May, we will be hosting one of our local or foreign missionaries. We will even enjoy our annual “Taste of Heaven” mission meal with recipes from various mission fields around the world.

Saegertown Bike Clinic

Every year during Saegertown Days, we facilitate a “Bike Clinic”. This allows us to serve the community by fixing up old bikes, giving away refurbished bikes, and awarding a brand new bike to a lucky winner for the “Free Bike GiveAway”. This is all while tracks are being handed out, and the Gospel is shared. The event will feature bike repairs, exchanges, and drawings for new bikes and gear…and don’t forget the free ice cones!

Soccer Field (NEW)

This field is a new addition to our church facilities. Our hope is to connect to the community better through the use of our unique facilities like this soccer field. To request a reservation or for more information click here.
